Facebook; a lot of people have a Facebook account and a lot of people fail to take safety precautions. Here are some tips for you to consider if you use Facebook.

Make sure you use the privacy settings to protect your information and photos from prying eyes. Check this often as the settings change.

Do not put your work and social schedule on Facebook, finding your home address is easier than you think.

Give some thought to what photos and info you put on your page, keeping in mind that employers routinely check Facebook as part of their background investigations.

Don’t put photos of yourself looking straight ahead. These photos can be lifted out of Facebook along with your personal information, and presto: your identity has been stolen.
