The week of November 2nd to the 8th has been designated as Crime Prevention Week in Ontario. This is a time to highlight programs or initiatives that actively promote the participation of the public with the police to combat crime. Crime Stoppers is of course a prime example of such a program.
Crime Stoppers is a not for profit, community based charitable program which involves the cooperative efforts of the community, the media, and the police in the fight against crime. Our local program continues to be viable piece of the crime solving puzzle, contributing to the quality of life of all residents here in Sarnia Lambton.
