HIT AND RUN ON LAKESHORE ROAD
On December 3rd, 2021, around 6:20 pm an older model, dark coloured Hyundai Tuscon struck a personal mail box then a hydro pole in the 1500 block of Lakeshore Road and fled the scene. The vehicle had been travelling westbound on Lakeshore Road, crossed over the roadway, striking the two objects which were on the south side of the Lakeshore Road.
The suspect vehicle and driver fled southbound on Modeland Road then turned left onto eastbound Blackwell Road. The vehicle would have significant damage to the front end. The pole was snapped in half and the Lakeshore Road was closed for several hours in order to replace the pole.
