DISTRICT BETA ON LONDON LINE BROKEN INTO
On December 20, 2021 the Sarnia Police responded to a Break and Enter at a business known as District Beta located at 1886 London Line in the city of Sarnia.
District Beta is a blast from the past Arcade Bar featuring retro and current video games, Virtual Reality chambers, tabletop games and a bar.
Video surveillance of the break-in shows two males smashing the glass in the front door and entering the business. Upon entry several display cabinets were smashed and a large quantity of merchandise was taken.
The items include:
>Pokémon cards,
>Yu-Gi-Oh! cards,
>Magic the Gathering cards,
>box sets of cards and
>gaming systems.
The total value of items stolen is approximately $13,000 and damage is estimated at approximately $17,000.
This break-in is just one of many in an alarming trend leading up the Christmas holidays. District Beta is a very popular spot for groups to book their gatherings and parties. A break-in at this point in time has a huge impact on the business!
