A1 Security – Crime of the Week

STOLEN PICKUP TRUCK…

On Sunday, February 6, 2022, around 3:50 AM, an unknown male was caught on video surveillance at AutoMax, located at 745 Confederation Street in Sarnia. This male broke the passenger side window on a black, 2015 Dodge Ram, crew cab 2500 diesel truck and left in the truck southbound on Alice Street, heading towards Campbell Street. AutoMax maintains all keys to this valuable truck so the suspect obviously “rigged” it in order to complete the crime.

This truck, valued at over $60,000, is very distinct with its Laramie trim, black interior, chrome running boards, lights on the roof, hard tonneau cover and small dent in rear passenger door. The truck also had an AutoMax plate holder on the front and an AutoMax sticker on the front windshield.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, wearing a black coat with a hood, a red hoodie under the coat and tan work boots. Of course, his face was partially covered. Someone out there knows who this flagrant thief is. Please give Crime Stoppers a call at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or you can go on-line at www.p3tips.com. You will remain anonymous and you could receive a cash reward for your tip.

We here at Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers are offended by this crime as AutoMax is a very important sponsor to our local program.
