OPP INVESTIGATING DEATH IN RURAL PARKING LOT

Death Considered Homicide

(ENNISKILLEN TOWNSHIP, ON) – The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment is treating the death of an individual in Enniskillen Township as a homicide.  On April 14, 2022 at 7:00 a.m., members of the Lambton County OPP responded to a report of deceased person in a rural parking lot off of Marthaville Road.  Investigators, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, have determined this death to be a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Andrew CHUTE, 45-years-old of Sarnia.            

Investigators believe this to be a targeted incident at this time, and there is no threat to public safety.  The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario.
