A1 Security – Crime of the Week

BREAK & ENTER TO CORUNNA LEGION

On Monday, April 4th just before 7:00am, two suspects drove into the parking lot at the Royal Canadian Legion on Albert Street in Corunna, Ontario.

The suspects broke into the storage shed and stole a ‘Yardman’ riding lawnmower, a ‘Stihl’ leaf blower, a ‘Stihl’ string trimmer, and a chain hoist.

These items were loaded into a light coloured 4 door pickup truck with an extended bed.  The lower portion of the truck was painted a dark colour.  Police describe the truck as a two-toned, GMC crew cab style pickup.

Stealing from an organization like the Royal Canadian Legion is like stealing from Veterans, their families, and the community we live in.  Through its local Branches and members, the Legion raises funds and supports essential services for those in need and responds to the unique needs of their community.

If you recognize this truck or if you know where these stolen items are, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit your tip online through the Crime Stoppers website at www.sarnialambtoncrimestoppers.org
