Canadian Flag Stole from Walmart Property
Sometime overnight on July 31st to August 1st suspects accessed the open area behind the Walmart store on Quinn Drive in Sarnia. The suspect managed to lower, disconnect it and steal the extra-large, 40ft x 20ft Canadian flag.
This Canadian flag is owned, maintained, and sometimes replaced by the owners of Wyoming Tree Service. The flag is an icon in our area and is known as one of the largest in Lambton County. Travelers from the U.S. are greeted by this symbol of freedom minutes after entering Canada on Hwy 402.
Stealing a Canadian flag has to be one of the most “Un-Canadian” acts a person could do.
