The United Nations recently held it’s annual International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking
on June 26th. Health is the theme for this year. Mr. Alexander MacDonald, Crime Stoppers International President
says, “Communities should reflect on the hardship and gain of individuals affected by the abuse of illegal drugs,
we need to STOP, PAUSE, and REFLECT on what WE can do to make OUR communities safer, and in turn help
create a positive environment for OUR families to grow and flourish rather than succumb to the negative
influences created by drugs…”
