On June 29, 2020, at approximately 2:45 AM, officers responded to the Circle K, located at 450 Trudeau Drive in the City of Sarnia, in regards to a robbery.
The suspect entered the store with a handgun which he pointed at the clerk. The suspect left the area on a bicycle, westbound on Confederation Street with a quantity of lottery tickets and cash.
The suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweater, with the words “I am Change” on the front in white letters and a green logo on the left upper sleeve.
The suspect was wearing a skeleton mask and a ball cap with a sticker on the top of the peak. The suspect wore red gloves with the palms of the gloves being black. The suspect also wore baggie, straight-legged pants, black shoes, and had a grey and black flannel designed backpack.

A1 Security Crime of the Week
On Sunday, June 14, 2020, at about 10:00 PM, suspects 34 yr old Joshua Spero (also known as
Chase Venema) and 31 year old Todd Campbell went to a home on Essex St in Sarnia and got into an
altercation with the two residents – a male and a female.
Inside the home, the suspects began to assault the male. They pointed a large knife at the female
and threatened her to stay back.
During the struggle the male victim was stabbed several times and was taken to hospital where he
was listed in serious but stable condition. Before leaving the home, the two suspects removed some
property from the home.
Two males are now wanted on warrants for this incident.
The first suspect, 34 year old Joshua Allen Spero (aka Chase Venema) of Sarnia, is wanted for
aggravated assault, robbery, robbery with violence, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, and
breach of probation.
The second suspect, 31 year old Todd Wayne Campbell of Sarnia is wanted for aggravated
assault, robbery, and breach of probation.
This was NOT a random incident and all parties knew each other.
