Will “Grapes” Willemsen is a “peach” of a guy. He posted $500 for his release. We will be watching him closely as he “romaines” at large with the Sarnia-Lambton community! Thanks Sunripe for being the “apple” of the “judge’s” and our eye!

Today marks the 33rd anniversary of the brutal and unsolved homicide of Morag Davies. Ms. Davies was last seen by a friend on August 23rd and she was found murdered in her Retlaw Drive home in Sarnia’s north end on August 25th, 1988. Her body was located in the bedroom covered with multiple stab wounds. The murder weapon has never been found.
Someone, somewhere, knows something about this unsolved crime. There is a loving family and a community that seeks answers and resolution to this murder. A family never forgets the loss of a loved one, regardless of how much time passes. This was a very disturbing case and Morag’s killer needs to be identified and found.
Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers would like to hear from you, no matter how major or minor your information might be. You will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward. Please help Crime Stoppers get justice for Morag Davies’ family.

“Smiling Bart” was happy because he “cut” a “sharp” deal for his release from jail. He was on the “Verge” of staying in the slammer until he posted $500. He had quite the “edge” over everyone else! Thanks Bart Verge of Cutting Edge for your continued support!
On August 19th 2021, just after midnight, unknown persons removed copper cables from a hyrdo transformer at Eastland Plaza on Indian Road. This triggered a 12 hour power outage at the plaza creating great frustration for the business operators.
This was a very dangerous and risky crime, which amounted to about $10,000 in damage and repairs. Sarnia Fire attended the area in response to an electrical fire. Smoke was observed. Police attended as well and are now investigating the matter.
These bold thieves cut through a razor fence surrounding two separate hydro compounds at the rear of the plaza. The culprits proceeded to steal the wire from the hydro transformers. A potentially deadly activity with very little reward and costly for all affected.
Someone out there is bragging about how “brave and daring” they were committing this mindless, reckless and dangerous act. Do you know who they are? If you do, do not hesitate to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go on line at www.p3tips.com. You will remain anonymous and could be eligible to receive a cash reward.
Rickert “Bin Man” Bischoff called a “taxi” after his release. He posted $500 bail after doing a lot of “trash” talking while in custody. We just chalked that up to “wasteful” thinking. Thanks for “picking up” where you left off Trash Taxi.

This sports car was being purchased from out of town and had to be serviced before the new owner could take possession of it. Sometime during the night, the vehicle was stolen.

Ross “The Apprentice” Tius of had quite the “journey” to freedom recently. He made a “plumb” decision to hand over a “piping” hot $500 cash to freedom. Way to go Local 663!
August 6, 2021 – DAMAGE TO LIFE RING AT BLUEWATER BRIDGE
Sometime last weekend, someone decided to cause severe damage to a life saving ring under the Bluewater Bridge. This is not your average damage to public property! This is truly life-threatening property damage!
Swimming in the St Clair River in this area is a very popular activity during the summer months and if you think about it, boating, kayaking, parasailing and other water activities start early in the spring and carry on into the fall. Any one of these activities could potentially require one of these life rings to rescue the participants. Damaging, stealing, or otherwise disabling these devices can have tragic consequences.
The life rings are provided and maintained by the good folks at Pt Edward Fire & Rescue, and they are not cheap! Over $1,000.00 to replace each one!
Lambton OPP would like you to be aware that vandals have been very active in this area lately and they are targeting the washrooms, the splash pad and pump house and other nearby properties.
