Lambton OPP is currently investigating a series of Mischief Incidents which occurred overnight Friday May 4th into the morning hours of Saturday May 5th, 2012, at various locations in Corunna. The suspect(s) sprayed purple paint onto a Canada Post mail box and on as many as 17 different vehicles parked in driveways and on roadways. Derogatory statements and vulgar language was the main content of the graffiti. A fence and real estate billboard were also targeted. Damage to the billboard is estimated at $2,500.00. There is currently no total estimate of damage done to the vehicles.
Neighbours saw groups of suspicious people on the streets in Corunna that night but none called the police.
