Petrolia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating an incident that occurred at the Petrolia Fairgrounds, most likely sometime early on Sunday September 11, between 12 AM and 7:30 AM.

The incident involves “Truckin’ Mamas On The Run” fry truck which was parked at Petrolia’s Bridgeview Park. A Pride flag, which had been attached to the truck, was found tied to a noose that was tied to a brick then found hanging from a set of propane tanks on the same truck.

The police are looking at this incident as a “hate- motivated” mischief crime.
