December 28th 2022 marks the 22nd anniversary of the murder of then 22 year old Robert “BJ” Raymond.
This incident occurred in the parking lot of the Border Club which was located at 494 N. Christina St. in the City of Sarnia. Raymond witnessed a fight break out which involved some of his friends. He went to intervene and assist these friends and within minutes was on the ground with a fatal stab wound. Efforts to revive him on scene were unsuccessful and Raymond succumbed to his injuries.
An extensive investigation took place spanning across Lambton County and into the United States.
Someone knows who is responsible for this senseless death. If you were there that night or have heard talk about what happened you are urged to come forward with the information.
The Raymond family deserves closure and someone out there can help with this.
Sarnia Police are still offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible.
