April 14, 2023, at approximately 9:55 AM, Sarnia Police attended the 100 block of North Christina Street in Sarnia in regards to a break and enter. The break in happened sometime between April 13 at 10 PM and April 14 at 8 AM.
After reviewing video footage near the property, it was discovered the suspect was tampering with the front door lock at approximately 1:55 AM on April 14th. Someone returned at 5:10 am the same morning and entered the building, filling back packs with random pieces of equipment. This suspect remained in the building for about 50 minutes. Value of the items stolen is estimated to be about $30,000.00.
