A1 Security Crime of the Week

 

Sarnia Police are looking for assistance in identifying suspects involved in two separate break and enters on July 7, 2023 in the City of Sarnia.

The first incident occurred in the early morning hours at a business located in the 100 block of Vidal Street North in the City of Sarnia. The suspect is observed on video surveillance exiting a motor vehicle and smashing a window to gain access to the business. Once inside the suspect removed the cash register and two tool kits. The suspect appears to be Caucasian male, wearing a baseball cap, jacket, pants and gloves with a mask covering his face. When the break in was complete a second suspect was observed to enter the motor vehicle with the first suspect and leave the area. A description of the second suspect is unavailable at this time. The motor vehicle is believed to be a SUV with the rear window broken and plastic covering where the glass once was. The empty cash drawer was later located in the 500 block of Wellington Street.

A second break and enter occurred shortly after in the 1100 block of London Road in the City of Sarnia. A suspect is observed on video surveillance to exit a motor vehicle, smash the window of the front door and enter the business. The suspect is described as a Caucasian male wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark jacket, pants and running shoes with a mask covering his face. This suspect also has a large grey tattoo covering the top of his left hand. A cash tray with a sum of money and lottery tickets was stolen. The vehicle involved in this incident is believed to be a small SUV, last seen travelling westbound on London Road.
