In the early morning hours of January 7, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police along with area fire were dispatched to a suspicious fire in the 7000 block of Confederation Line. The estimated damage to the barn is valued at over $50,000. No one was hurt in this blaze. Police will be reviewing any video surveillance from the area on that date.

The OPP are actively investigating this suspicious incident and are asking anyone with any information to contact them or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or you can go on-line with your information at www.p3tips.com. You will remain anonymous, you will not have to go to court and you may receive a cash reward if your information leads to the arrest of individuals or individuals involved in this incident.
