A1 Security Crime of the Week

On February 14, 2023, Sarnia City Hall were displaying several red dresses hanging from the main tree in front of the building to honour the memories of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls across Canada.

Video obtained by Sarnia Police at the time recorded a male suspect removing those dresses from the tree. This disgusting theft took place at approximately 5 am on February 14, 2023.  Watch the video on Sarnia Police Service website.

This was an unbelievable and deeply disrespectful act let alone a brazen theft. This crime remains as an open investigation with the Sarnia Police Service and they are asking anyone with any information to contact them or to call in your tip to Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or you may also choose to go on-line at www.p3tips.com.
