On January 6th, 2025, the Sarnia Police Service were called to the Resurrection Cemetery on London Line, in the City of Sarnia in relation to a theft.

Police learned that an urn had been taken from a vault which was pried open to obtain it.

The Sarnia Police Service are attempting to narrow down the date of the theft, however are asking the public to call if anyone has knowledge of its location.

This theft is unrelated to a previous investigation of an urn found in the St. Clair River which is being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police.
