On June 25, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP),

Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and St. Clair Township Fire Department responded to a

collision at the intersection of Highway 40 and Rokeby Line in St. Clair Township.

Early investigation determined that a collision took place at the intersection after a vehicle failed to

stop at a stop sign, causing another vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a pole.

The driver who struck the pole was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Lambton OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of the vehicle who fled the

scene.
