The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual responsible for a mischief and theft that happened at a business in the town of Petrolia, ON.

On July 24, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., an unidentified individual attended a business property on Robert Street in Petrolia. The individual caused damage to a change machine and proceeded to steal an undisclosed amount of money. They fled the scene immediately after the incident.

The suspect is described as:

• l Male
  
• l Small build
  
• l Dark brown and white facial goatee
  
• l Carrying a black backpack
  
• l Wearing a black ball hat, black t-shirt, light plaid shorts, and black running shoes
  

The investigation is continuing.
