The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the
public’s assistance in connection with an attempted break-in and mischief in St. Clair Township.
On August 3, 2025, the Lambton County OPP responded to a report of an attempted break and enter and mischief at a residence on Courtright Line, near Greenfield Road, in the community of Courtright, St. Clair Township.
The investigation determined that between 9:00 p.m. on August 2, 2025, and 7:00 a.m. on August 3, 2025, an unknown individual attended the residence and attempted to gain entry into the home. During this time, damage was caused to property outside the residence.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual involved.
The individual is described as:
- l Female, approximately 20-30 years of age
- l Heavy build
- l Brown hair
- l Wearing a red t-shirt, black leggings, and carrying a light-colored plaid blanket
The investigation is continuing.
