On September 26, 2025, Sarnia Police received a theft complaint regarding stolen credit card and debit cards. It was reported that while attending a local community centre, belongings were stolen out of a change room; specifically, a debit card and credit card from a wallet.
It was noted that these stolen cards were then used at a grocery store in the city for two separate purchases, with a total spent of nearly $900.
The suspect was seen on video entering and leaving the store where the unauthorized purchases were made. He was noted to be a white male with dark hair and a full beard. He was wearing a black ball cap, white face mask, grey hoodie and dark pants at the time of the offence.
