A1 Security Crime of the Week

The Sarnia Police Service is looking for the public’s assistance regarding an assault that happened on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at approximately 10:30 p.m., at a convenience store in the Indian Road area.

 

On November 20, 2025, the Sarnia Police were dispatched to attend an assault complaint at a convenience store. An unknown male and female entered the store and went straight to the cooler area where the alcohol is stored. Upon being asked for identification, the two refused to provide any. As they were leaving the store, the female suspect grabbed a case of beer, attempting to flee the area. The store clerk attempted to intervene and stop the shoplift. This resulted in the store clerk being assaulted in the face. The male and female then fled the area.

 

Male suspect is Caucasian, wearing a blue baseball hat on backwards, black hoodie with orange writing, blue jeans and white and black running shoes. Possibly late teens, early 20’s.

 

Female suspect is Caucasian with long brown hair wearing a red toque, white hoodie and gray pants. She is carrying a black Adidas backpack. Also appears to be late teens to early 20’s.
