Sarnia Police is currently investigating multiple thefts from vacuum machines where suspects are damaging them to gain access to the cash box.
On Sunday, December 14, 2025 the owner of a local gas station reported damage to the vacuum located on London Road in Sarnia. The owner reported a male party attended multiple times, damaging the gas station’s vacuum and stealing the money out of it.
He first arrived at 0452 hours on a bike. He was described as having a brown jacket and blue jeans. The male party used a tool to damage the vacuum, but did not recover any money.
Between 0704 hours and 0714 hours, the original male in the brown jacket returned with another male party in a silver minivan. The driver of the vehicle pumps the tires while the male in the brown jacket used a tool on the vacuum to retrieve money from it.
