Sarnia Police are still investigating a hit and run that happened Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 8:26pm at the intersection of Talfourd Street and Queen Street.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 8:26 pm, police were called to the intersection of Talfourd Street and Queen Street in response to a reported hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian.
The suspect vehicle was travelling westbound on Talfourd Street and turned left onto Queen Street, striking a male pedestrian in the crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle stopped and exited his car to look at the victim momentarily before getting back in the driver’s seat. The vehicle then reversed and sped away westbound on Talfourd Street.
The suspect vehicle is now believed to be a 2014 – 2018 Jeep Cherokee Red in colour with possible trim package of Limited or North. The male driver was described as wearing light brown boots, blue jeans, and a white ball hat.
The 54-year-old pedestrian was medically treated at the scene and transported to Bluewater Health for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are seeking any information as to the identity or whereabouts of the driver and the involved vehicle.
