The Sarnia Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspect(s) involved in a theft from a business on London Line.
On Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:20 a.m., unknown suspects attended a business property in the 1800 block of London Line and stole a black 2019 Ford F-250 pickup truck with an attached enclosed trailer. The trailer contained a Ventrac tractor and various tools.
The stolen pickup truck was later recovered in a ditch in Comber, Ontario. The trailer and its contents were recovered in Toronto, with the trailer having sustained minor damage.
The licence plate that was originally attached to the trailer, Ontario licence plate Z2069K was removed from the trailer and remains outstanding (stolen).
Video surveillance obtained during the investigation shows a vehicle entering the London Line property at 12:11 a.m. The vehicle drove through the lot before leaving. The suspect vehicle later returned to the area. Shortly afterward, an unknown individual entered the stolen truck and drove it from the property with the trailer attached.
Images of the suspect vehicle are being released. Although the photos do not clearly show the occupants or licence plate, investigators are hopeful they may assist in generating new information.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go on line at www.p3tips.com. You will remain completely anonymous and could receive a cash reward for your information.
