Sarnia Police are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a vehicle and driver involved in a hit and run in the city of Sarnia.

 

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, at approximately 2:10 pm, a 60-year-old female pedestrian was walking through the crosswalk on a green light at Vidal Street and George Street in the City of Sarnia.  As she crossed, a vehicle turned left through the crosswalk and struck her. She was treated at the scene.

 
 

A witness’s dashcam captured this collision.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be a grey or silver Kia Soul, which fled the area after striking the pedestrian.
