The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating multiple

incidents of mischief after graffiti was discovered at several locations in the Town of Petrolia.

 

On April 24, 2026, Lambton OPP received reports of spray-painted graffiti at four locations, including municipal washroom facilities and a local business. The affected areas include public washrooms on Greenfield Street, 4th Street, Fletcher Street, as well as an interior washroom at a business on Tank Street.

 

It is believed the graffiti occurred on April 23, 2026, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The graffiti has since been removed.

 

The investigation is ongoing.
