A1 Security Crime of the Week

The Sarnia Police are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in a theft incident.

 

Between the early morning hours of May 23, 2026, and May 24, 2026, a vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Conrad Street in Sarnia, Ontario.

 

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, light-colored pants, and black shoes. The suspect approached the vehicle while it was parked in the driveway and gained entry using an unidentified tool.

 

After accessing the vehicle, the suspect was able to start the black Chevrolet Avalanche pickup truck and fled the area, travelling northbound on Conrad Street.

 

At this time, the suspect’s identity remains unknown.

 

On May 26, 2026, members of the Sarnia Police Service located the stolen vehicle after receiving a report from a concerned citizen. The vehicle was found in the area of Canterbury Court.

 

Upon recovery, officers determined that several items had been removed from the vehicle. The value of the stolen property is estimated to exceed $200.

 

The suspect remains outstanding, and the investigation is ongoing.
