A1 Security Crime of the Week

The Sarnia Police are looking for the public’s assistance identifying two male parties involved in an attempt robbery involving weapons.

On June 23, 2026, at 0011 hours, officers were dispatched to a weapons/robbery call on Maria Street in Sarnia.

The male caller advised that while he was sitting in his vehicle in the driveway of his residence, he was approached by two males who pointed what he believed to be black and green pellet guns at him.

The complainant stated that he had left his residence to purchase pizza and, upon returning home, remained seated in his vehicle eating a slice of pizza. While doing so, he observed two males wearing baggy clothing walking westbound on the sidewalk behind his vehicle toward the intersection of Maria Street and Mitton Street.

The complainant paid little attention to the males and resumed eating. Moments later, he was startled when the same two males approached him in his driveway from the eastbound direction and pointed what he described as “obvious pellet guns” at him.

One of the males asked the complainant for his car keys.  He believed the weapons were pellet guns and told the males to “get lost” before raising the driver’s side window. Once the window was fully closed, he heard a “pop” and observed the window shatter. He placed the vehicle in reverse to distance himself from the suspects and called police using his cellular phone.

The suspects are described as thin, white males. One male was approximately 6’0″ tall, while the other was approximately 5’6″ tall. Both were wearing baggy clothing, and one was wearing an orange bandana. The suspects are believed to be teenagers, estimating them to be between 15 and 18 years of age.

The males were last observed running toward the intersection of Maria Street and Mitton Street.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at www.p3tips.com. You will remain completely anonymous and could receive a cash reward for your information.
