Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a theft of a sign in Thedford.

On July 1, 2026, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received

a report that a large Crime Stoppers sign, posted at the entrance to the community of Thedford near the

intersection of Highway 79 and Arkona Road, had been stolen.

The stolen sign is valued at approximately $800.

It is a 4×8 ft high density grade wood and laminate, heavy sign.

Anyone who has information regarding this incident, including anyone who may have witnessed suspicious

activity in the area or has relevant dash camera footage, is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
