The Sarnia Police are requesting the public’s assistance identifying a male party involved in a weapons call.

 

At 5:28 PM on July 13, 2026, officers were dispatched to the area of 900 Wellington Street for a weapons call. Information at the time was that a male was spraying bear spray.

 
 

The male was described as 5′ 6″ wearing a black balaclava, black shorts with a green stripe down the leg, carrying a black bag with a single strap.

 
 

Officers arrived on scene and searched the immediate area for a male matching the provided description. This was met with negative results.

 
 

At this time there are reasonable and probable grounds to arrest the male.
