A1 Security Crime of the Week – Theft from Tractor Trailer

On October 15, 2019 at approximately 7:00 a.m. the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a theft from a locked tractor trailer overnight on Christina Street North, in Pt. Edward, Ontario.

Initial investigation revealed the tractor trailer was parked overnight in a parking lot located on Christina Street North, in Pt. Edward. Unknown suspects entered the tractor trailer and stole well over $50,000 worth of tobacco products and other merchandise within the trailer. Further investigation revealed that the large U-Haul truck shown in these photos is believed to be directly involved with this theft. This truck was last seen eastbound on Highway 402 on the night of the theft.
