Lambton OPP is currently investigating two unsolved armed robberies which occurred in the early morning hours of Thursday May 24th and again in the early morning hours of Tuesday May 29th, at the Mac’s Convenience Store at 5302 Nauvoo Road in the Village of Watford. In both cases, two males entered the store and confronted the lone female clerk.
In both cases a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets were taken.
In the first incident suspects were described as white, 6’ tall and wearing dark clothing. In the second incident one suspect was wearing a long sleeved striped shirt, light coloured pants and gloves. The other suspect was wearing a heavy coat and jeans. On both occasions the suspects had their faces covered, possibly with bandannas.
