The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for the public’s assistance identifying a male involved in a theft from a business in Forest.

On January 19, 2026, members of the Lambton OPP received a report of a theft from a business located

on King Street East. The investigation determined that on January 18, 2026, at approximately 4:55 p.m., an unknown individual entered the store and placed several grocery items into a backpack before leaving without making payment. Shortly after, the same individual re-entered the store, stole additional grocery items, and again left without paying. The individual was last seen leaving the area in a small, dark-coloured pickup truck.

The individual is described as:

  • White male
  • Approximately 30-40 years of age
  • Light-coloured facial hair
  • Last seen wearing black glasses, a plaid hooded jacket, and a dark vest
  • Carrying a black and red backpack. 

The investigation is ongoing.
