On Tuesday December 15, 2015 at around 10:00 a.m., the Lambton County OPP received a report of a break and enter in the 30 block of Maud Street, Village of Point Edward. OPP attended the location and determined that unknown person(s) forcibly gained entry into a locked residence at some time between December 12th and December 14th, 2015. Several items were reported stolen from the residence which included various pieces of jewellery and electronics which has an estimated total value between $20,000 and $25,000. The Ontario Provincial Police Forensic Identification Unit was requested and attended the location to assist in the investigation.
