The Anishinabek Police Service along with the Ontario Provincial Police are still investigating the tragic homicide of 29 year old David Jordan OLIVER of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. David was reported missing on July 31, 2020 and his body was found just two days later, on August 2, 2020. His red Dodge Ram truck was located in another location just a short distance away. His death was brutal and his family wants justice.
David was a talented, funny and polite young man who was adored as a husband, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend by many in his small but tight knit community. He’s also remembered as a talented and well-liked student and gifted athlete who loved to travel.
Both police agencies have been working diligently at trying to solve this murder. The Ontario Government has offered a $50,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this homicide.
