Theft of Motor Vehicle, Crime of the Week

(LAMBTON, ON) – On Wednesday January 4th, 2017, the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to an address on Florence Road, Dawn-Euphemia Township, ON. regarding a theft of a motor vehicle.  

At just after 8:00 a.m., the Lambton County OPP responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Florence Road, Dawn-Euphemia Township. Upon arrival, police were informed that at some time between approximately 11:00 p.m. January 3rd and 8:00 a.m., January 4th, unknown person(s) entry into and stole a pickup truck that was parked in the laneway of the residence. The stolen vehicle is described as:

  • 2003 GMC Sierra 2500-series, brown in colour, single cab, long box with an aluminum checker-plated toolbox in the box

The value of the pickup is estimated at $10,000.

Investigation is presently ongoing and there have been no suspects identified.
